Chapter three, as you may have noticed, is taking it's time in forming. There are alot of key details I have to decide on before I can complete it regarding the political structure I'm setting up. As it is, the more thought I give to it, the more I'm considering going back and making a few small edits to what I've already mentioned. I have to get this firm before I can move on.
Because of all these delays, however, I felt it was only fair to offer you all a little incentive to keep anticipating future chapters. The following is a scene that will most likely happen in Chapter Five, but despite the fact that quite a few things have to happen before it can, it's not really that spoilerish. The setting is at a joint party for Neville and Harry's birthday that Neville's grandmother is throwing.

I should add that I was in a bit of an odd mood while writing these, but as the fic was uploaded in 24 hours, I wanted to get them done. I may edit them later. These notes contain information about what happens at the end of the chapter, so you may want to read them after you've read the chapter.

When Percy entered his office, waiting inside was a lost waif. At least that’s what it looked like at first. Crooked dingy blond braids hung down from either side of her face, which turned towards the door as it opened. At that moment, Percy again found himself looking into two of the biggest silver blue eyes he’d ever seen.
“You!” Percy spluttered in disbelief. “What are you doing here?”

Thank you for taking the time to read these notes. There are several functions to this journal. It will be used to post extended authors notes, such as the ones below. These extended authors notes will give background on theories/characters I may have borrowed, and links to where more information can be found on them. I will also announce when a new chapter of the fic has been uploaded, so friend this journal if you wish to be updated in that manner. Finally, I eventually want to write an appendix explaining the view of the Ministry and Wizengamot I'm taking for this fic in textbook style. Since I'm not sure if I will be able to upload this to a site like FA, I'm planning on uploading that.
For coding reasons, the authors notes will always go up before the chapters. While they won't contain any spoilers for future chapters, unless otherwise stated, I recommend you read these extended notes after reading the current chapter. So basically when they go up(like this is about to), resist the urge to read it until the chapter is uploaded, unless you want to risk being spoiled for the upcoming chapter. They will always be behind lj cuts.
So, now that that is all said, the authors notes themselves.
